Baked by Yael has two kosher certifications: one from DC Kosher (certificate below), and one from Rabbi Aaron Alexander at Adas Israel Congregation, located four blocks down the street from our bakery.
All of our ingredients are hechshered (certified kosher), and our kitchen is certified kosher. However, our kitchen is not kosher for Passover.
Our dairy ingredients are not Chalav Yisrael. Our bagels, challah, and vegan items are parve.
Baked by Yael is also one of the largest distributors of shmurah gluten-free oat matzah. This matzah is made off-site in Brooklyn, New York and in Israel.
