COVID-19 Vaccine Info Session with Deputy Mayor Wayne Turnage

Millions of people around the country - and the world - are vying for coveted COVID-19 vaccine appointments.  However, there are also many who either do not want the vaccine or are on the fence.  Their attitude toward the vaccine is one of skepticism and suspicion.  This view is particularly held among many Black Americans, who are more likely to show reluctance to get vaccinated.
Please join us on Thursday, February 25, 2021 from 1 to 2 p.m. for a virtual info session with Wayne Turnage, Deputy Mayor of DC for Health and Human Services.  Deputy Mayor Turnage participated in a vaccine trial and has received the vaccine.  He has been a prominent voice to provide accurate information about the importance of getting vaccinated, especially in the Black community.  He will be happy to answer any questions or concerns you have about the vaccine.  Please check out Deputy Mayor Turnage's bio here.
This event is geared toward individuals who do not want to get the COVID-19 vaccine or who are on the fence.  However, all are welcome to attend.  Please forward this invitation to anyone who might be interested.  If you are a business owner - and especially if you employ essential workers - please share this invitation with your staff.
